Daphné Arias-Guillemette’s practice is rooted in an intuitive, sensitive, and embodied approach. She has developed a methodology deeply informed by her cultural heritage—a blend of Peruvian and Quebecois influences—which she views as a fertile space of tension between duality and plurality. Her aesthetic is rooted in a search for forms and an aesthetic that engages with the legacy of pre-Columbian Peruvian pottery, which has inspired her since childhood.

She creates pieces with distinctive forms, designed to accompany daily life with simplicity. Her works seek to transform ordinary moments into moments of intimate and soothing rituals. Blending functionality, memory, and symbolism, she develops objects with a strong identity, evoking small artifacts steeped in history and inviting contemplation.
