For me, ceramics is first and foremost about design and everyday objects. What fascinates me is creating pieces of functional art that bring a gentle presence and a sense of calm to the home. My approach is very design-focused, with a particular emphasis on objects that serve a dual purpose—pieces that enhance a space while accompanying our daily rituals.
Visually, my work is characterized by classic forms, clean lines, and balanced proportions that exude a gentle sensibility and a distinctly feminine character. I draw inspiration from the Rococo era, not through the ornate forms, but rather for its theatrical atmosphere, soft color palette, and poetic quality. There is also a delicate touch of nature that runs through my world and infuses my creations. Through the delicacy of my pieces, I seek to create a peaceful and almost magical atmosphere.
In my studio, I combine wheel-throwing and casting depending on the project. These two techniques allow me to explore the material from different angles, while maintaining a high level of precision in the finishes and in the selection of my glaze colors. My goal is to offer refined and accessible pieces that bring a touch of wonder to everyday life.
