Maudite Céramique

My work explores matter through a constant dialogue with clay. Between technical mastery and spontaneity, I alternate between an experimental approach, where form emerges from gesture, and a more thoughtful construction, nourished by careful observation of my environment. My eye is drawn to everyday details, whether elements of the urban or natural landscape, the accidental textures of the ground or the behavior of my animals. These fragments of reality become anchor points in my work.

Hybridization is at the heart of my approach. My recent sculptures, inspired by 18th-century Sèvres cookies, take the form of porcelain creatures combining human and animal features. These figures, at once strange and familiar, reflect my ambiguous relationship with animals: between tenderness and annoyance, fascination and the constraints of everyday life. They are the result of a meticulous process of observation, in which every posture, texture and interaction nourishes my formal research.

This attention to detail can also be found in my utilitarian Rubato collection in red stoneware, where the precision of the throwing process meets the instinct of the gesture. Angular feet, curves and marlies structure the pieces, while subtle deformations, intuitive engravings and freely shaped handles add a unique touch.

Through the hybridization of forms and ideas, my work oscillates between rigor and experimentation.

and experimentation, questioning our relationship with matter, the living and the unexpected.
