I've always had a passion for tableware. I love to create objects that will make a table a convivial place to spend quality time. I make objects that are rather simple and classic in form, but I have a lot of fun creating all kinds of engravings that produce a rhythm and texture on each piece. My engravings are often inspired by one of my other passions, knitting, by the repetitive effect of the small touches on the still raw clay. I look for glazes that will enhance these engravings with a play of thicknesses and subtle changes in color nuances.
I also have a soft spot for all tea-related objects. I like small, unique objects that are more explosive in terms of shapes and surface treatments, which are allowed in the world of tea. I'm also looking for the perfect teapot!
