My scientific background has given me technical rigor, a taste for understanding how things work and the pleasure of experimentation.
As I don't have a very keen artistic sense, I turned to the production of complex parts, where my precision and attention to detail are an advantage. The design and optimization of these parts, whether in form or decoration, are essential to me and make my pieces perpetual prototypes.
Finally, research into surface treatments and glazes in particular gives me great pleasure. Thinking about my tests, applying them meticulously and discovering the surprises they hold in store for me when they come out of the kiln - that's what I love.
