Her career has been marked by a constant creative exploration of clay, forms, surfaces, and techniques. She is fascinated by our reciprocal relationship with clay—the only natural material on our planet that immediately takes the shape given to it by the hand.

Rachel’s work reflects this exchange with the world, the elements, and the beings around us, exploring the living nature of clay and the ways in which it shapes us just as much as we shape it.

Her technical choices are part of her creative process and offer her great freedom and spontaneity of expression. This is an essential element in her work.

She incorporates color, texture, and movement to create pieces rooted in the present moment. Her collections feature amorphous natural elements such as rocks, clouds, lichen, salt, the sea, and landscapes.

Rachel approaches her artistic practice as a journey of experimentation, learning, and constant evolution, where the creative process takes center stage.
