I used to work as a makeup artist and was looking to diversify my creative practice, which first led me to design Christmas decorations and then to take up pottery. This transition is part of a continuous process: working with materials, color, and the act of creation.
Today, I create functional ceramic objects designed for everyday use throughout the year. Although functional, my pieces remain deliberately colorful, playful, and strongly inspired by my Christmas decorations, which I translate into a ceramic language.
My approach is based on the tension between two poles: the organic, imperfect forms resulting from hand-shaping, which retain the imprint of the gesture and the human touch, and the graphic, almost rigorous character of my glazes. I deliberately avoid formal perfection in order to preserve a sensitive and living presence in each piece.
This dialogue between spontaneity, imperfection, and visual precision lies at the heart of my artistic exploration and gives rise to pieces with a distinctly contemporary aesthetic.
