I began my artistic career as a dancer and choreographer (holding a degree from the National Center for the Arts in Mexico City, Mexico). I spent 20 years in this field, working with traditional Latin singers and celebrities in Mexico.

I embarked on a new career in 2018 by enrolling in a ceramics program at the Taller Experimental de Cerámica Coyoacán in Mexico under the guidance of master potter Alberto Díaz Cossio, a specialist in very high-temperature firings (cone 12). In addition to wheel-throwing, I learned how to develop glazes there, and this has become an important part of my artistic practice. A trip to Japan in 2019 convinced me to continue my research into glazes and explore the infinite possibilities.

Since 2020, I have been based in Quebec and have developed cone 10 and cone 6 glazes, particularly Tenmoku glazes, which have been very well received by tea enthusiasts. I hope to continue my artistic production, the development of new glazes, and the sharing of experiences with other ceramic artists in Quebec.

A look at what you will discover.
