Lou-Anne Daoust-Filiatrault, also known as Luloba Céramique, creates functional stoneware pottery, wheel-thrown pieces rooted in the landscape and rhythm of life in Sutton, Quebec. Her work reflects a quest for balance between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design, where clean lines and organic forms interact with a palette of earthy tones. Through her pieces, she explores the tension between rusticity and refinement, between raw surfaces and more delicate finishes. Clay plays a central role, often left partially exposed to preserve direct contact with the material and reveal its texture, warmth, and irregularities. By emphasizing simplicity and precision of touch, her work seeks to transform everyday objects into vessels for sensory rituals, inviting a more mindful and lasting relationship with the objects that surround us.

A look at what you will discover.
