I work out of my ceramic studio in the industrial area of Rosemont. I create all my

work on a ceramic wheel or using hand-building techniques. I dedicate 2 months

a year on research and development, exploring aggregate materials, form and

firing methods both inside my studio and outdoors in the village of Val-David,

located north of Montreal in the Laurentians. I work with semi-porcelain and

stoneware to create both functional, everyday objects and more abstract pieces.

What I like about clay is that is from the earth we walk on; an unpretentious and

dynamic material, it is an extension of the hand that shapes it, and an extension

of our existence as we fade away – a historical document. Clay has a character,

a personality that governs how I work with it as it undergoes numerous

transformations; together the material and I have a collaborative and evolving

relationship where we both contribute in the creative process.

I hold a BFA from Concordia University and am a graduate of the Centre de

céramique Bonsecours.

A look at what you will discover.
