My work is of individual pieces and small series, made by hand and fired with various firings, either smoking, high gas firing or high wood firing. The surface treatment is with local botanical prints or designs, local clay encrustations or coatings and local maple ash-based glazes. My field of vision is filled with trees and rocks, ice and streams. My creative repertoire reflects this life close to nature through shapes and colors. All the pieces find a place in the rituals of daily life.
