My exploration of colour, texture and pattern in functional cone 6 pottery is influenced by my fascination with printed fabrics, decorative papers and children’s book illustrations. I am drawn to the slow meditative processes of hand building, stamping and hand colouring details with glazes. My goal is for finished pieces that will engage the senses and the imagination. The joy of both making and sharing my creations keeps me playing and telling my stories through
