Chantal Auger

I work with porcelain, fired in a cone 9 electric kiln.

I primarily create functional pottery for food preparation, cooking, and serving. I take special care to produce high-quality pieces that can be enjoyed in everyday use.

My glazes are made from clay respectfully gathered from the womb of Mother Earth. For my Terroir collection, I use it in its pure form—a deep brown—extended with salts to achieve a rustic character, or mixed with wood ash to capture the depth of sun-kissed ochre. The high-temperature fire reveals the full extent of its immense alchemical power.
