Melançon, Marie-Jeanne

I have a very intuitive approach to ceramics. My relationship with clay is at the heart of my work. It teaches me its history and I interpret it in my pieces. My practice is natural like the clay.

I like to create from the void, from nothing. For me, the process is much more valuable than the product. It allows me to learn and share. When I create, I think about the experience I want to have and the experience I want others to have. I am more interested in the organicity of the material than in its structure. My thinking is organic. I have fun with eccentricity.

A sense of comfort emanates from my collection. The pieces are sometimes soothing, sometimes stimulating. It is an invitation to share and connect with nature.

A look at what you will discover.
