As far back as I can remember, I've always loved the arts and working with my hands. I discovered ceramics during a sculpture course I was taking as part of a certificate in visual arts at UQÀM. At the same time, I was finishing a Bachelor of Arts at the same university, before enrolling in the DEC en technique des métiers d'art, option céramique, at Cégep du Vieux-Montréal in 2010, where my passion for clay has continued to grow.
Inspired by nature and the balance of opposites, I work with porcelain, applying soft, shifting colors. Through a play of contrasts between stability and movement, I give the pieces a structural strength that evokes the fragility of the earth. Each creation bears witness to a quest for harmony between robustness and delicacy.
