Ceramics is an art of patience and dedication, slow and meditative. Just as we can observe life in two ways, we can look at a piece for the materiality it offers, or for the emptiness that contains it. My intention is to illustrate these moods through one-off pieces and small series in stoneware, painted and engraved by hand.
