Contemplating nature; being present with myself and my natural surroundings. Living close to the elements, observing them, and then working in the studio—to me, this is a natural progression. The love I have for this perfect imperfection; that is what I wish to express through the objects I create. Living in the forest, close to lakes and rivers, this nature inspires me as well as my state of mind. For me, ceramics is and always has been therapeutic.
My hands and my soul can no longer imagine life without pottery. That is why I have immersed myself full-time in this art with so much love and satisfaction, despite all the challenges it may entail!
Life makes perfect sense when I am in my studio.
