I have been working for seven years in the fields of design, event planning, and museology. Always on the lookout for new things and with a naturally curious mind, I have been drawn to the wonderful world of pottery since I was a child. Stimulated and inspired by working with this highly malleable material, I decided to devote myself to it more fully five years ago.

My ceramic practice is an extension of my multidisciplinary background. I incorporate elements from my training and experience in design, fueling a constant exploration of both form and texture. I love creating objects knowing that one day, they will bring as much joy to their future owners as they did when I first created them.

I explore the many possibilities offered by ceramics, both in the choice of materials and in the development of forms and patterns, which have become a signature of my work. I generally work with three different colored stoneware clays, which I deliberately leave exposed in specific areas of my pieces. This approach aims to highlight the duality between the raw, porous, and mineral character of the bare clay and the lustrous, soft, and vibrant appearance of the glazes.

My pieces are distinguished by bold combinations of colors and finishes, as well as by the incorporation of different details or shapes, lending a touch of originality and uniqueness to each object.

I also create wood-fired pieces, a demanding and unpredictable firing method that produces unique results, marked by the action of the flame, ash, and sometimes salt. More recently, I have begun making my own glazes, under the supervision of potter Daniel Gingras. This process deepens my connection to the material and lends an even more personal character to my electrically fired pieces.

A look at what you will discover.
