I create practical objects for everyday use as well as small decorative pieces. I combine various shaping techniques (coils, slabs, hollowing), but I always come back to pinching: I appreciate the simplicity of the movement and the imperfect character of the pieces that result from it. Mostly small in size, my creations can find a place in every corner of life.
Drawing is an important part of my work, easily recognizable by its colorful designs blending naive animals and mysterious images. I draw strong inspiration from comic books, nature, medieval illustration, and esotericism. I am interested in semiotics, hidden meanings, and the influence that symbols have on the mind. For me, the creative process is a kind of game: I imagine that each creation is a magical object and that the drawings adorning it bestow upon it specific but as yet unrevealed properties.
