Through my ceramic works, I explore the connections between nature, time, and the traces left by human activity. Every gesture, every intervention—whether visible or subtle—imprints a memory on the material. My pieces thus become sensitive witnesses to a present shaped by the past.
Clay is at the heart of my practice. It acts as a material of memory, capable of revealing the impacts of time and carrying an identity. I prioritize the dialogue between the clay and the glazes, where oxides—chosen for their complexity and reactions—reflect the interactions between natural elements.
Freehand drawing occupies a central place in my work. Spontaneous and imperfect, it evokes the human gesture—at once fragile, repetitive, and unique. I also explore engobe transfer using mediums such as newspaper, whose textures and irregularities leave their own imprint, adding a narrative dimension to the surfaces.
Through utilitarian forms, I seek to create meaningful everyday objects, where function and reflection coexist in a delicate balance.
