As Canadian philosopher Marshall MacLuhan said, 'the medium is the message'. I use clay as my medium because for me it's the material through which we're all united: the earth. From my studio at Le Rosement in Tio'tia :ke Montreal, I dream, play, create and explore. Influenced by my studies in visual art and ceramic craft, I create utilitarian, sculptural and decorative objects that bring a touch of magic to everyday life.
In my practice, I work instinctively, using my hands as eyes and clay as language to communicate through the senses. My aim is for my pieces to make you think and feel, to create a sense of presence, magic and ongoing exploration.
