Vanessa Fleising is a multidisciplinary artist, born and resident in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal. Vanessa has a background in visual arts, with a BAC from Concordia and a DEC from Dawson, as well as a DEC in artisanal ceramic techniques from CCB. Her inspiration comes from the Arts and Craft, Surrealist and Dada movements. She mixes life-art-craft with philosophy. Her creations are often colorful, designed to make you think and dream, to pique your curiosity and bring a touch of magic, joy and beauty to everyday life. Her objects are expressions of thoughts, moments and emotions. They serve to communicate and convey a feeling, in a way that words cannot.
The Centre de céramique Bonsecours (CCB) proudly present their 2023 DEC Techniques métiers d’art – spécialisation Céramique graduates’ collections.
In addition to offering a college training program in partnership with the Cégep du Vieux Montréal, the CCB's mission is to promote research and creation in contemporary ceramics. Its gallery offers a diversified annual program of exhibitions, lectures and special events.
